Love coming on Sundays for the place is usually jumping. Amazing house tracks and a chill crowd cute staff to. They have really good wine selection that I feel rotates regularly. It seems I'm seeing something new each visit. They don't really have food I believe but I could be wrong. They have an out door area and multiple chairs and such throughout the establishment. The other nights are more chill and laid back
Fantastic natural wine spot in Detroit. Predominantly European wine, but very wide range and the staff are super friendly and knowledgable about their stock. Don’t let the looks from the outside put you off, it looks closed, perhaps even slightly abandoned at first look. Even the door with the open sign looks like it’s closed, but go inside and it’s a great spot. Good bar for drinking in, lots of seats and a huge terrace at the back. Would very much recommend this place if you are a natural wine fan
Funky. Fun and festive little wine bar. Outside space has music and plenty of seats in addition to space for dancing! Food trucks were out back the night I was there but not sure if they are always an option. MCW has been doing Detroit proud for over a decade! It’s a classy little spot but not expensive and not boogie! I think my favorite thing was the outdoor patio with a DJ and dance floor!
this place is reaaaaaaal special. You should start with ordering a sangria, then stepping out to the patio and enjoy the aire libre. Then go inside again and dance to some beautiful tunes, then go home and kiss your partner and kids in the forehead and there you go, a perfect day.
This place is a Gem. One of a kind. It's the perfect place for every occasion. The owners give me hope in humanity and that a solid relationship can happen. The patio the music and food pop ups are top of the line. The wine selection and prices are amazing. 100000 % recommended
This spot was recommended to me from a server at a really great restaurant called Ima Izakaya down the block, and it didn’t disappoint. We got lucky and came on a Jazz night hosted every third Saturday of the month with The Jesse Kramer Trio, and we had a great time. Great music, ambiance, wine and friendly staff - We’ll definitely come back when I’m in Detroit.
We visited Motor City Wine on a Friday night and sat ourselves in the only open table right up front for the live jazz band. They offer a wide variety of wine and craft beer selections and the bartenders are extremely helpful with recommendations. I highly recommend visiting during a jazz night!
We love the patio on Sundays, live music, good and reasonably priced wines and rose, and great vibe!
